Takes State Title
Arkansas Baptist made it back to back trips to Fayetteville for the 3A State Softball Championship game, and this year the Lady Eagles soared to victory. The title game featured a welcomed rematch with the Mustangs of Perryville, who handed the girls a heartbreaking loss in last year's championship game. Behind an outstanding pitching performance from Senior Emily Guess, the Lady Eagles finished strong defeating the Mustangs by a score of 7-0.

From Celebrated Endings...
Little Rock’s First Baptist Church was packed as family and friends gathered as diplomas were presented to forty seven graduates. Arkansas Baptist Salutatorian Morgan Rush reminded the class of 2010 that graduation did not represent an end for their class, but only a new beginning, after all that is why they call it commencement. May 17th was a night filled with both laughter and tears as various students recounted many memories made and shared over their years at AB.

Every year brings about change, and looking forward to the 2010-2011 school year, Arkansas Baptist High School welcomes several new faculty members. Kathy Hardgrave, Lara McElrath, and Lanell Crook will be coming over from the Elementary to unite with the High School staff. They are joined by Jennifer Byrd, Justin Allison, Joe Jackson, Rusty Hart, Brian Mashburn, Billy Goss, Micheal Flatt, Levi Miller, Zach Welchman, and Bernie Cox.
