Flying High
Success continues to riside witht the Eagle Boys Basketball team. The state playoffs have been a home away from home for the guys as once again they capture District and Regional tournament championships. The run for back to back state titles seemed certain until the Eagles ran into a pesky rematch of last years final with Valley Springs. Defense wins championships and Valley Springs forced the Eagles right out of their game plan. In the end the guys made a great run, but fell short in a low scoring 38-36 loss.
Though the guys were certainly disappointed the success of a great season cannot be easily overlooked. This senior led team played with heart and determination, overcoming injuries along the way, and will be remembered for posting an incredible record over the last four years.
2007 - 19-1 Jr. High District runner up
2008 - 23-5 District Champions and Final Four in State
2009 - 32-3 District, Regional, and STATE Champions!!
2010 - 27-6 District and Regional Champions, and State Elite 8
